Hello to Each & Everyone of You …
As we begin a new school year, I want to take a moment to thank those of you who have supported my transition
to Tiospa Zina Tribal School and the larger community.  I am excited and blessed to be here and a part of our TZ family.
For those of you I have not met, I look forward to doing so soon.  As for all of you, I anticipate a
long and rewarding relationship.
As we move forward with our responsibilities, I offer you a thought: only one expectation matters … RESPECT.
From my experience, “Rules & Regulations” clutter our mission and create a negative climate.  But
“expectations &consequences” and the right of “choice” dignify each individual.  School is a place for
learning and growing.  As each of us learns and grows, we will make mistakes.  When we learn from our mistakes,
we grow as human beings.  If we teach, expect, and give respect to everyone, all will fall into place.
Finally, to paraphrase philosopher and thinker, Ralph Waldo Emerson,
“If it does not matter who gets credit, everything is possible.”
Make this a glorious year, and for your students … a year of hope & love.
Ken
