Computer tip of the day:
Right Here, Right Now, Really Quickly

If you're a person who uses PowerPoint for presentations on a regular basis then I'm sure that at some time it's been necessary to start a show (or restart a show) from a slide that isn't the first one.

Whether it's just where this particular discussion should start of it something happened to put you back into the program window instead of the slide show itself… the problem is that you've got people looking at the display and they're seeing the slide in the Normal view.

You can just feel the disconnect happening. They see this as a break and begin to fidget and a few quiet discussions begin around the room.

The question is… How do we get back to the presentation from where we are as fast as possible?

The answer is simply Shift + F5.

Yep that's it… if you quickly use Shift + F5 the show will begin again from the current position - without delay.

No fumbling with the mouse to find a tiny button, menu or tab of the Ribbon to restart the show.

Shift + F5 will put your presentation back on track from right here, right now and really quickly.

Elks National "Hoop Shoot"

Tiospa Zina will host a hoop shoot contest on Saturday November 21, 2009.
You must be at the school and register by 3:30pm - we will begin at 4pm
It is free for ages 8-13 (you cannot be 14 before April 1, 2010 and must be 8 before April 1, 2010. 
We will have three different age groups:
8-9 boys and girls divisions
10-11 boys and girls divisions
12-13 boys and girls divisions

HS Tutoring!
High School After School Tutoring will start on November 3rd and continue every Tuesday and Thursday. Tutoring sessions will be supervised by Jack Laemmle and located in Jack’s classroom. Students that attend may leave at any time but must leave the school grounds when not involved with school activities. Tutoring will start at 3:30 and end shortly before activity busses leave. Bus passes will not be issued to students that come to tutoring late or leave early.
There is a sign-up sheet in Izola's office for any freshman or senior girls interested in participating in the Sisseton Snow Queen pageant.  You may sign-up until November 10.  The pageant will take place on Sunday December 6th at the Ben Reifel Gym.
